Two One-Act comedies, one night of laughter!

Cemeteries Are a Grave Matter...

Jenny McNutt's parents run a mortuary and she is smitten with every handsome "customer." Her mother introduces Jenny to Daniel in hopes that a live boyfriend will solve Jenny's problem. Instead, Daniel organizes a demonstration to protest against "wasting land that could be growing wheat or fresh carrots for a starving child." Daniel tries to force the McNutts to install a crematorium. The lively wit will keep the gravest audience laughing enough to wake the dead!

Wake-Up Call...

Seventeen-year-old Jamie is having a really bad day. After getting up the nerve to tell her friend, Rochelle, that he loves her, she asks her to help her poison her father. Is she joking? Just when it becomes clear that she's definitely not joking, Jamie's mother wakes her up. It was all a dream! But Mom has bad news for him. Terrible news in fact. As the news becomes nightmarishly bad, Jamie wakes up again. She's back with Rochelle, who tells her she fainted, and Dad comes home just in time for Rochelle to offer him a big glass of suspicious-looking milk. Now Jamie isn't sure what's real and what's a dream, and every time she thinks she's got it figured out, her life takes another surprising left turn. A funny, spooky play about the nature of reality, Wake-Up Call starts as a nightmare and goes to places you'll never expect.
